According to  Boraq Hamim the Art news website , a collection of paintings by Salvador Dali has been discovered in a garage in the Mayfair area of London, which is estimated to be worth up to 5,000 pounds. These works, which include 10 signed lithographs by Dali, were hidden for 50 years. These works were bought in the 1970s for 500 pounds. Antiquities expert Chris Kirkham described the discovery as “an amazing find” and said the works were found by chance while appraising other antiquities. Also, there are five lithographs by Theo Tobias, a French artist, in this collection.

The works remained hidden for 50 years because after being purchased in the 1970s, they were forgotten in the garage of a property in Mayfair, London, and lost among other items and rubbish. Due to moving, the owner of the work decided to check his antiques and for this reason these works were rediscovered.
