From “Sari Glin” to Azerbaijani folklores

The concert of Alnam Azerbaijani Orchestra with the performance of Azerbaijani pieces led by Vahid Alipour was very popular in Tehran’s Vahdat Hall.

According to Boraq Hamamim artistic news site, the concert of the Azerbaijani Alnam orchestra led by Vahid Alipour and It was performed by Masoud Amir Sepehr and Majid Asri in Tehran’s Vahdat Hall.

The concert started with the piece “Arazbari”, one of the classic pieces of Azerbaijani folklore, performed by Uzir Haji Begaf, and then some official pieces were performed with the addition of drums and Qarmun instruments. It changed the musical atmosphere of the orchestra.

Other pieces included “Mherban Olaq”, “Azizanam Azarbaijan”, “Hardasan”, the piece “Mani Akhtar Darikhanda” was also performed as an orchestral piece for the first time, as well as the piece Sari Glin, arranged by Sohail Salimzadeh, as a duet of both singers of this performance, Massoud Amir Sepehr and Majid Asri performed, the arrangements of the performance were made by Vahid Alipour, Javad Abrahan and Zakir Asdaf.

Also, some instrumental pieces were performed with string solo, fiddle and clarinet and were well received.
