Morteza Katouzian is one of the greatest realist artists of Iran. He was born in Tehran in 1308 and completed his art studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Tehran University. Katouzian started painting professionally from 1330 and his works were exhibited in many exhibitions in Iran and abroad.
Katouzian’s works are known for their accuracy and realism in painting faces and nature. . In his works, he was often inspired by topics such as people’s daily life, nature and the history of Iran.

Kamal al-Molk (1256-1319)
Kamal al-Molk is another of Iran’s greatest realist artists. He was born in Kashan in 1256 and completed his art education at the Kamal al-Molk school, which he founded. In his works, he was often inspired by topics such as people’s daily life, nature and the history of Iran.
